I love the dramatic sky and wide angle shot...but I especially like the background crane at work as if it is building the ship's rigging!lol:) so cool. Nice perspective and exposure.

Location
The photo was taken in Greenwich, London. The scene is Cutty Sark, is a British clipper ship and fastest of its time and now an award - winning visitor atraction.Time
This is one of my first and favorite image. I remember summertime around 19 o'clock sunset, getting dark and almost the last glimpse of sunlight and walking a good distance to the ship. Had no tripod so I tried to balance the camera and get the best angle.Lighting
I wanted this image to look mysterious and give the impression it was on the sea and draw the viewer towards the sky.Equipment
This was shot on a Canon 600 D, with an 18 - 55 mm f/3.5 lens. no other equipment was involved.Inspiration

Every place has unique characteristics, sunrire or sunset depending on the day. One of the major features of a landscape photographer is to have patience and wait for the right time, which is essential in a place like this. Be prepared for the diversity of landscapes, colors and situation, dawn and dusk are key moments, however daylight conditions, clouds and wind creates atmospheres as it happens.
