Behind The Lens

Location
This shot was taken from a cable car at the top of Mont Blanc.
Time
It was about noon when this was taken.
Lighting
Since I was shooting through glass, it was really hard to get a clean shot without some form of reflection.
Equipment
This was taken with a Nikon D60, handheld.
Inspiration
When I looked down, the juxtaposition of the wide open expanse of nature and the tiny humans just spoke to me. I felt very small at that moment.
Editing
I always edit everything in Lightroom although this shot was first edited in Picasa.
In my camera bag
I carry my Nikon D600 (I have since upgraded from the D60) a Fujifilm XT-2, several Nikon lenses, a few filters, cards, a second battery and my tripod.
Feedback
This shot was very much a function of being in the right place at the right time. My best advice is to explore the world and always be sure to document your explorations. Pictures will develop right before your eyes...pun intended :)
