Lower Calf Creek Falls is one of the most beautiful, unique waterfalls in the country I found on a 50 state journey last year. You'd be hard pressed to find a more picturesque picnic spot with swimming hole to boot. It's no wonder why Native Americans lived in this canyon, with ample fish readily available in the stream, and shelter from the high cliffs. Some of the most unique pictographs on Earth can be found here (Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument). To me, they look almost extra-terrestrial.
