Clouds are moving fast in that windy and stormy day. I've just had my small tripod that sunk deeply in the sand, but still stable enough to capture the photo. The tide was very low with patches of water to reflect the clouds... Normandy, France.

I'd be happy with 3/4 of the image, but the lightning puts it over the top. Excellent capture and certainly worthy of a magazine spread.

Hi Steve, many thanks for your kind comment... I had only a small velbon tripod at the time, but it did the great job with my heavy Nikon D750.
