Location
I took this photography in my very small front garden, we have recently planted a native English hedgerow but allowed this lovely shrub to grow, the blackbirds enjoy the berries.Time
My daughter had just started nursery school and it was a 2 mile walk so we were setting off early. It was late summer , early autumn and so the sun was just creeping up the sky.Lighting
As i mentioned it was early morning, the sun rises from just behind the shrub so , quite a nice defused light it often possible to capture and we keep the evening light on the garden too so i often use my small front garden for many wonderful warm lights.Equipment
This was my fuji camera which allowed basic manual settings. I had only been using manual for a couple of months when i took this image and was pleased with the result.Inspiration
The light was wonderful with a haze in the distance, the web was glorious with dew, and the berries were so red! Even though we were in a rush, i had to stop to take a couple of shots.Editing
i cropped this image and adjusted the lighting slightly.In my camera bag
I have always enjoyed taking photographs as it supported my love of painting however now i have a love of photography for just itself. I am a real novice but i now have a wonderful Nikon D550 which is opening a new world to me. My next purchase will be a macro lens as i do love the tiny worlds that live with us.Feedback
Be prepared for these wonderful moments. Morning light brings a new magic to these wonderful webs and the Autumn colours add some extra interest.
