This photo was taken in a small town in Southern Finland, called Karkkila.Time
We had spent the weekend at my ex-boyfriend's country cottage, it was late Sunday evening and when we needed to leave back to home. Packing our stuff in to the car in the pitch-darkness was difficult, so we started the car so we could see a bit better. I noticed how beautiful light the headlights of the car was casting to the forest. My boyfriend took a break from packing the car to have a cigarette, and I saw my moment to take a photograph had come!Lighting
The light is created with the headlight of the car that is behind the model.Equipment
I wasn't prepared to have a photoshoot and I only got my Canon Powershot s120 with me.Inspiration
In this case, I was inspired by the spontaneity. I hadn't planned the photo at all, and when I saw the magical moment being suddenly created, I grabbed my camera and told my model to freeze.Editing

I think taking a photograph like this, the most important is to have a environment that you can make totally dark. Then you need something really strong to create the light, like in this case it was car's headlights. The smoke of the cigarette also makes it's own magical touch to the photo.
