I think the image is a wee bit out of focus. The bodice and the hair is not sharp. The shadows on the neck and down the side of her face are very deep and not complimenting the image. I like the slight angle pose, but if she lifted her chin somewhat and made eye-contact, it would have had the wow factor. Could you maybe try again?

Thank you for your comments and time Lindie! A friend said the same thing you said about the shadows, which is why I wanted a critique, and finally got one! I think if I did it again I would add another light to soften the shadows. This shot is intended to illustrate someone in deep thought, so I wouldn't want eye contact. How would you do a shot like that? The image was decently focused but is blurred intentionally! The entire image is blurred, in varying degrees, with experimental techniques in photoshop. :-)
