I am a paralyzed self taught photographer by way of youtube, (Scott Kelby is a great teacher by the way) and I captured this at Shore Acres State Park in Coos County Oregon...Time
I captured this mid day not to far past noon during the King Tide... In order to get the shots you're after it really takes some timing and research... Turns out that the weather channel website has been a great tool in photographing the coast... they send you alerts to weather phenomena that are more often than not photo-worthy...Lighting
I like my light, the way that the Lord has provided it... El natural... That's probably why I'm a landscape photographer...Equipment

I love the power of the ocean, and I just wish to share it with others as the way only I can see it...Editing
I do not do post processing, I'll slightly adjust color and perform minor fixes like noise cancellation and chromatic aberration... Post processing is NOT Photography in my humble opinion...In my camera bag
My go to in my Bag is my 70-200mm telephoto, but I also carry filters such as UV, and neutral density filters... I also carry a 2x doubler, and a monfrotto travel tripod...Feedback
My main advice is don't fall in, and don't follow the crowd, find your own view and develop your own unique sense of composition... :^)
