The scenery at Varkala Beach in Kerala was truly one to behold. As the waves washed up at the sandy shore, they left behind foam that looked like brush strokes of white paint. The evening sky was rich with pastel blues, purples and peachy hues. The far distance showed the little gleaming lights with the promise of a civilization. If you looked far enough, you could see the horizon melting and the sky becoming one with the sea.
