The soft purple/pink light gives a very fairytale like atmosphere which was exactly what I was looking for.

I was waiting eagerly for the first cold winter morning after the snowy day. Finally the conditions were just as I wanted them to be. Still lake, beautiful pink/purple morning tones, snow on the trees and some fog for mystic atmosphere.

Editing

I do normal post processing in lightroom: - correct the WB if necessary - I adjusted colors a bit to emphasize the purple tones for a more fairy tale look. - I adjusted the curve to bring out the details in shadows and tone the highlights down a bit

Feedback

Well the hardest part with this image is to wait for perfect conditions. Since winters are getting warmer, days like this are very rare. In the last few winters, there was maybe 3 or 4 days like this at lake Bled. This year, this was the only day the conditions were exactly as i wanted them.
