One of my friends, who is a cosmetologist, wanted me to photograph her work. She told me she was going to have flowers in the girls hair and have loose curls, etc. So I really wanted to keep the images soft and ethereal. I had the girls wear crop tops-bandeau, so that any color or design from a shirt would distract from the hair, which was the main focus of the session. One big softbox used and one hair light.
