I took this photo in my wifes garden at our homeTime
The photo was taken around 4:40pm in the afternoonLighting
Because of the shadows made by the branches on the Blue Jay, it was required to use a flash set at 2-stops downEquipment
Photo was taken with a Nikon D800E camera, 200-400mm f/4 Lens, 2x Teleconverter, SB-910 AF Speedlight, Tripod,Inspiration
Noticed a number of bird species playing around in the garden. Since I did not have some good photos of songbirds, I thought this would be a great change to get some great shots.Editing
I did some basic adjustments in camera RAW using Photoshop Bridge, then final touches in Photoshop 5In my camera bag

Be very patient, take your time to compose your shots, wearing Camo clothing is a good idea and a blind is even better,
