Behind The Lens

Location
I took this photo in my wifes garden at our home
Time
The photo was taken around 4:40pm in the afternoon
Lighting
Because of the shadows made by the branches on the Blue Jay, it was required to use a flash set at 2-stops down
Equipment
Photo was taken with a Nikon D800E camera, 200-400mm f/4 Lens, 2x Teleconverter, SB-910 AF Speedlight, Tripod,
Inspiration
Noticed a number of bird species playing around in the garden. Since I did not have some good photos of songbirds, I thought this would be a great change to get some great shots.
Editing
I did some basic adjustments in camera RAW using Photoshop Bridge, then final touches in Photoshop 5
