Great great photo and love that you went black and white on this one! I wish I could have seen a bracketed HDR shot of this as well. Living in Okinawa I don't have access to old cars.. what a shame.

Behind The Lens

Location
This was taken on a neighbour's property in the Barossa Valley, South Australia
Time
It was mid afternoon on the weekend as I was taking my dogs for a walk through bushland and then there it was
Lighting
The sun was just perfect up high in the sky to allow the light to light up the cabin and expose the raw aged beauty of this old truck
Equipment
This was shot on my nokia lumia 1020 mobile phone in auto mode.
Inspiration
As soon as I saw the truck the first thing that came to mind was our farming history and felt that even in it's current condition it tells a story
Editing
It was one photo so I used a hdr filter app on my phone and then used a black and white filter
In my camera bag
Mobile phone in my pocket a nikon coolpix L840 because it has an amazing zoom and a nikon D3100 with a 50mm lense as it is great to get the bokeh affect and great for portraits
Feedback
Dont always travel on the obvious track/road. Take that small of the beaten track/road because you just never know what might appear around the next corner. And always have a mobile phone on you because you never know when you might come across something so unique and beautiful to photograph
