This photo was actually taken in a local cemetery in Charleston, SC.Time
My son wanted to take some sunset photos. He doesn't drive, so I took him to the cemetery that is about a mile from our home. We waited for the sun to start going down and were treated to this "cauldron" effect in the sky.Lighting
There was no external lighting other than what Mother Nature supplied.Equipment
This shot was taken with my HTC OneX phone camera.Inspiration
I took several photos in this sequence. Some of them show the contrails of airplanes and this one has at least one of those in it. The colors and the effect that was made was the inspiration. I'm not sure that I have ever seen another sunset likes this one.Editing

I have since acquired a Nikon D3300 in order to have the ability to change lenses. So, I have several lenses, extra batteries, filters, cleaning cloths, etc.Feedback
Always be aware of everything that is around you. As for this photo, I was in the right place at the right time. My newer camera and lenses might have made this photo a little clearer, but other than that, I think it's still a great shot and I'm very proud of it.
