I took this Photo by a wedding... Here we were waiting for the bride to arrive...Time
It was in the afternoon in the period of endlich of Mai 2016Lighting
Here for me it was important to show a Black and white picture, which still stays natural. It was for me very important to see how the fur has it's movements... Also it was for me important that the horses look real, still I wanted to make it a little more dramatical, so I was playing a little arround with schades and contrast as well lightening...Equipment
I used a Sony a77ii camera, the less was a tamron AF70-300mm 1:4-5-6 Tele Makro (1:2) 62 A17. Also I used infront an UV Filter.Inspiration
I just honestly love horses, I love the forse they have, the way they move, how strong they are, still very gentle animals, which realy have to work hard to gain them trusting you. We were waiting on the bride, I saw them playing with eachother, so I just had to get a catch :)Editing
Yes I had to Transfer it to black and white, then I was taking care of the shadows by marking the places which I wanted to Use more contrast. I used some softening, and I also that it doesn't get to dark some exposing. I used some sharpening to, by using masking unsharpening. In my camera bag
Normaly I use my Tamron 70-300, but I also have a Sony Macro 50mm F2.8 along, I have always Batteries, enough memorycards along. A flashlight, Stuff to clean my lense, waterproof bag to place my camera in when it rains, a Pillow for my Knies...Feedback
Capture from setting on the Floor towards mouth of the horses to the eyes...
