Location
As I like to roam the streets of my current city stay of Philadelphia, I found a small back alley with, what I thought looked to be, interesting colors and olden style walls.Time
Around noon, I was wandering the streets due to the Pope Visit to the city. The weather was great, clear blue skies, and a cool temperature! Perfect for capturing some unique street photos.Lighting
Because of the brightness of the sun this day, the colors painted on the walls were exceptionally bold. I found the sun turned the green brighter especially.Equipment

My inspirations comes from finding unique, and possibly ugly, Philly street life and turning it beautiful. This, I found, was a nice example of what a back alley of a trash street could be. It's all about perspective.Editing
My only processing for this picture was some contrast to bring out the lines of the grate on the window bars and the depth between the bricks.In my camera bag
If I carried around my bag, I wouldn't walk nearly as far... so I leave it at home! (But always bring a lens cleaning spray and wipe, just in case! The city can get pretty dirty!)Feedback
People usually take pictures of the tourist spots in Philly, showcasing the LOVE statue, City Hall, etc. I recommend others who want a bit more spice to take a stroll elsewhere, away from the tourism. That's where you can find shots like this.
