I really, really like this image.
Excellent composition and use of deeply, contrasting subjects, brings forth a stunning, luminescent and shaded image.
The sharp details and vibrant hues of the flower set against a smokey background with muted, altered colors, as if coals from a dying fire, creates a moody and complex scene on which to ponder.
