i often photograph my grandson's band Rabid Flowers, when he isnt studying at university he is working on new music and plays at the local pubs. i do free photos for all the bands and get great music to listen to and wonderful opportunities to use my photography experience.Time
the Bands usually start playing from 7:30 pm to 12:00 am at the pub.Lighting
i shoot manually and since i am in a pub setting i try not to interfere with the lighting so i just adjust for lighting on my cameraEquipment

watching all the movements and toe tapping etc is artistic and i usually take about 1000 photos and go over every detail later. i am never disappointed in the photos later (having taken so many)Editing

remember you are shooting a band and so there is plenty of movement try to slow it down and capture the detail
