I has spent all night at Flinders a small town 30 minutes away trying to get an aurora picture, i did but was a bit disappointed so i decided to try my luck at the Hasting marina knowing most people would be in bed with a hangover from the NYE celebrationsEditing
a slight touch of colour adjustments and some de hazing for the top of the sky and thats it.In my camera bag

Return to the same place several time at different times to check the light and different angles. Pray for mother nature to turn on a good show when you do get up early to take a sun rise. Alway get there 1/2 hours before you want to take your shot jut to scope out the area and setting up ready. Most of all have fun.
