I really like this very much, well captured, just watch those highlights on the water, there a little what we call blown out, but a great shot all the same, well done.

Location
The photo was taken from across the harbour area on a freezing cold night in Bergen, Norway, my adopted hometown.Time
It was taken at 9.47pm so all illumination is artificial.Lighting
The only ligh was from the street lights and the building illuminations so I had to adjust the white balance for that and took a ten second exposure at f7.1 and ISO 400 which was a bit much as there is a bit of blowout on the shop lights and the reflections but other than that I'm fairly happy with the composition etc.Equipment
Nikon D3100, tripod, Tamron 18-200mm lens.Inspiration
I'm very lucky to live in Bergen which is such a photogenic place so I'm forever taking shots of this part of town.Editing
Photo was processed in Lightroom and while I managed to take a bit of glare off the shop window lights and the reflections I decided just to go with it as I didn't want to lose too much from teh rest of the image. Desaturated the colours a bit and brought out some shadows in the background. In my camera bag
The above plus a Phottix VND-MC ND filter and a Sigma DG 70-300mm lens with a Pro1 Digital UV filter.Feedback
Wear your thermals! It's bloody cold in Bergen three days after Christmas!
