I took this on Christmas day at the zoo I go to. This cool bird is native to South America and is endangered in the wild. They are about 2 feet tall with long legs. There are two of them in the exhibit at the zoo. They fly and walk around free which makes it possible to get good photos. They have curly feathers on their heads.
