The mare in this photo was a wild mustang for the first four years of her life. She will spend the rest of her life as a cherished member of our family. She has a great personality and she loves children and people. Make no mistake, she is still wild and if she wanted to, she can bolt faster than the wind for any reason and she often does. She does understand children and would never behave in such a manner with a child on her back unless she was frightened by something. So this picture really is a magical capture and gives credence to the fact that love can tame a wild heart.
