I saw this and paid it no attention, but it was so compelling, that it would not be denied a second time, and I found myself smiling and all sorts of funny thoughts going on in my head. For me that is a mark of a great phtograph, it made me think of what the photographer could have been thinking at the time.

The lighting is made of a beauty Dish and a reflector for the fish
Equipment
Nikon D800 with a 24-70mm 2.8 From Nikon
Inspiration
This picture is part of a serie named "a fish story"; To tell a fish story :) And to demonstrate that a fish is also beautiful , a kind of beauty and beauty; This fish was selected based on his pink tones that goes with the makeup idea;
Editing
Lightroom is definitively my tool; Here for publication it went thru Photoshop too for the skin work; The stick that was maintaining the fish was then cleaned on photoshop;
In my camera bag
Always my D800, a 24-70 2.8, a 35mm 1.4 and then it depend;
Feedback
Light is key, so experiment again and again, this is the way I do it;
