Location
Malaga, Spain. at the Jardines de Pedro Luis Alonso.Time
It was noon.Lighting
The gardens are very beautiful.Equipment
I used a camera we bought at the last minute before the trip, a Fujifilm FINEPIX S1000(fd).Inspiration
As my first trip to Spain, of course you look around and UP in this case. I saw the natural frame of mind that the trees where a real part of the feeling for the space.Editing
I do very minimal post processing in general. Although I do some in order to make the picture appear more like the frame of mind I had when taking the photo. In some instances the camera and film can provide unexpected results. I tend to eliminate/neutralize these characteristics. For example overly saturated greens with Fujifilm. In my camera bag
I have moved on to motion filmmaking. I use a Black Magic Cinema Camera.Feedback
I believe framing is everything. The number one important aspect of the still photograph. It sets the tone for what the interpretation will be for the contents of the picture. I actually despise post processing and fabricated landscapes and sunsets... hues shifting and what not. I understand it can be fun, and can provide a unique artistic presentation, however, I think it is over used in today's mainstream media sites.
