The Oriental Blowfly. Chrysomya.

I saw this injured blue-bodied fly on the window pane at home this afternoon. What attracted me was the red eyes! I grabbed my camera and close up lens attachment, quickly shot a few pictures and went to my room to down load the shots to see if I had any good ones. Returning later to the window to shoot more pictures, a lizard got to him and ended the photo-shoot session! The Oriental Latrine fly or blowfly is a shiny greenish-blue blow fly with a yellow face and large reddish eyes.
