The photo was taken at Yangtze river in Wuhan, China. I am not much better of a photographer. But I really do like to take photos. And every shot I take is pretty much a new lesson for me.Time
This is probably one of my well captured photos. I remember walking a good distance to the battery during the May. I was walking beside the river. The scenery was so beautiful. Some mid-sized ships were there. The evening, the city lights scattered among the darkness was so amazing. I just did few clicks with my SONY ILCE-3000 and nothing else. This was taken on May 03, 2015 at 6:35 PM.Lighting
I am not a professional photographer. But, I always like to test my photography skill whenever I have my camera with me. All I wanted to say about the lighting of this photo is, there were some beautiful green, violet, blue and yellow lights from the lampposts on the road. Beside this, lights were coming from all around the buildings of other side of the river. But, the color of the search lights were the mostly worth sharing about this picture.Equipment
This shot was taken on a SONY ILCE-3000 with an 18-55mm f/4 lens. No other equipment was used. No tripod was used for the long exposure.Inspiration
Spending evening time at the Yangtze river is always a fascinating and enjoying to the Wuhan people. They believe the Yangtze river change at night. Unlike the other Chinese people I also loved to see the night view of Yangtze river. The peacefulness and serenity of this place is unspeakable. All the lighting surrounding the river have the inspiration to take beautiful night photos of Yangtze river.Editing
Normally, landscapes photography needs a lot of post processing. But, I didn't use any post-processing of the photo. It was one of my best raw photos where you can see the real color of “Night at Yangtze River”.In my camera bag
I do photography as my hobby. So, I don’t put much stuff in my bag. Beside the camera, I always keep an extra lens of SONY 55-210mm f/4.5-6.3 lens.Feedback
To do photography at night, someone must have to be patient. I think, landscapes are easy to capture at daytime. But capturing lights at night isn’t so much handy. Dawn and dusk are the right moments. So, be patient and wait for the right time to capture the color of lights at night.
