Location
This one is from a (short) serie of studio self portrait from December 2015.Time
Technically, from a photographer point of view, the time of the day didn't really matter because it was a studio shooting. But, from a model management point of view, it should be noted it was at the end of the afternoon, and the model (me actually) already had a few JD's...Lighting
A soft box, and that's it.Equipment
A Nikon D700, Nikkor 50mm F/1.8, tripod, studio lights and commander, and a black background.Inspiration
Sometimes there is no inspiration. You just want to shoot something, or someone, and you are to lazy or too drunk to go out, or have no model at hand.Editing
Contrast, levels, and black and white. A few days after the shooting...In my camera bag
Any of my DSLR that has a charged battery, and the first lens that I can reach. I don't have a bag. Bags mean heavy stuff, too much stuff, and spending too much time worrying about that stuff; I don't really care about equipment: I just shoot what I see with what I have at that moment. When I go specifically to shoot something special, I just carry the minimum things I think will be needed.Feedback
Get a soft box, a camera, a black background and a model.
