We were on a visit to Iceland and had taken a boat tour to puffin island, but never got close enough for a good photo. That evening we stayed in a little out of the way village on the coast and our host told us about the puffins nesting at an old station on the hill across the inlet. We went over and there were puffins all over. We were able to get within 10 feet of these beautiful birds. There was no fear at all. As you can see this fellow posed very nicely.

The interesting thing about this sunset was the fog bank rolling in from the ocean. Eventually visibility along the coastline went to nothing.

I try to capture well known architecture at interesting angles. The cloud structure on this day made for an interesting photo of the Arc de Triomphe
