Am amazed at the response to this picture. I didn't see anything really special about it when I took it to be honest. It just shows that we all see things differently. Thanks for all the positive comments and likes and such.

Location
This was taken at a small station just outside Matlock in the UK. It was an overcast day and I snapped this as I walked across the line.Time
It was mid afternoon and just starting to rain. I didn't think anything of this shot after taking it and am surprised at the response and feedback it has had. I was more of a quick snap rather than a considered picture.Lighting
It was a pretty dull day hence me switching to black and white to draw some drama out of the sky.Equipment
Hand held Olympus OMD EM10 with a kit 18-45 mm lens. No flash. I have my black and white set to include a red filter which increases contrast and darkens the sky in a way I like.Inspiration
I like railway stations and I have always liked shooting parallel lines.Editing
In this case none at all. I may adjust contrast in photoshop but generally don't like using effects. I prefer to try and capture what is there on the day.In my camera bag
In this instance nothing else. I usually take the Olympus and a Fujifilm XT-1 and a few lenses. I rarely carry a tripod and almost never use flash. I always try and travel as light as possible.Feedback
Take your time. Shoot at different heights. Often getting low down gives you a different perspective. Don't be afraid to try something different.
