These falls are The Big Island's tallest waterfall cascade with a free fall of 2,600 feet. It is located inside Waimanu Valley, and of course, I had to go up in a helicopter to get this shot. Seeing The Big Island from above, gives you such a different perspective. The flight provided some spectacular views. Hiking to the waterfall is possible, but because much of the land within the valley is private property, it is best to view the waterfall from a distance to avoid any conflict with the valley residents.
