On a recent trip to Mexico I was given the opportunity to visit one of the most amazing sites. In Teotihucan, Mexico there are a pair of pyramids there. The Temple of the Sun and of the Moon along with the walk of the dead pathway. This image was taken at the end of the day and of the Temple of the Sun. This pyramid is one you can actually climb to the top of and it is an amazing view I must say. However, this pyramid is always very populated so getting a shot of it without people on it is almost impossible. So as they were closing I ran back to a spot where I could take a wide shot of this massive structure without the people walking up and down it. I got lucky enough that the sunset was lighting up the sky and clouds for a great backdrop to the pyramid. Taken with my Nikon D800 and Tokina 17-35 F4 Pro lens.
