Behind The Lens

Location

At an abandoned soda plant in Wynwood, Miami, FL

Time

It was around 5pm

Lighting

I was lucky to be able to capture natural light so no need for a flash.

Equipment

I took the photo with a Nikon D5100 and a Nikkor 50mm lens 1.8G

Inspiration

I was looking to get a nice graffiti background to give more color to the image, I think that was the perfect place for the shot.

Editing

Yes the usual Adobe Photoshop edits as far as sharpening and enhancing the exposure and colors.

In my camera bag

Nikon D5100, external flash, tripod, extra lenses, 4 batteries, lens filters, and a mini tripod.

Feedback

The best advice is to find a place that will inspire you and take advantage of all the natural light you can possibly get, then try different angles and see which one inspires you the most.
