i just used a barbie doll and a chritsmas light and back light processEquipment
Nikon D2X, 105mm Macro Nikkor, Manfrotto tripoInspiration
i wanted to do a series with dolls and make them look like humansEditing
no post processing, except set the exposure level, i am from the analog time so i try to reach my goal at shooting, of course if necessary i would use photoshop CC all right, but i prefer to make things happen during the shooting. In my camera bag
Nikon D2X body, 105mm macro, 35-70mm, 80-200mm lens Nikkor lenses, 10-25mm Tamron lens. Nikon N90 analog body, Nikon F2 analog body, HAsselblad 501 CM + 80mm lens, can be used analog.Feedback
Work on the depth of field (distance between first plan and second plan and focus on the first plan), the blur on the lights will give this spectral bokeh geometrical aspect. Mesure the exposure on the lights (so it's not over exposed). Always set the camera on M (Manual) mode in order to reach what you want and not let the camera decide for you.
