Good composition in this image with all the trees converge toward a point. Creates very dramatic lines and angles.
Good job!

Thankyou everyone for your lovely comments. These redwoods stand tall and offer an enchanted forest underneath their canopy.

Location
These Californian Redwoods were grown initially as a softwood logging experiment in 1938. Their growth was slow but due to the richness of the soil and the abundance of water, they began to stretch their branches upward and now reach approximately 60m. The tranquility found beneath the towering canopy can only be described as breathtaking. Their presence envelops your every senses, the serenity your soul. They are now an inclusion in the Otway National Park in South Western Victoria, Australia, ensuring their future to become the majestic towering beauties they are destined to be. Nature truly is wonderful.Time
The photo was taken around midday.Lighting
I used no other lighting for this shot other than what nature provided.Equipment
My camera is a Canon 550d. The lens was a 10-18mm landscape lens. I dont use any other equipment :)Inspiration
This is one of the most tranquil places of our area. Not heavily visited by tourists and most visitors are respectful of the peace the majestic trees offer.Editing
The only post processing was to change the colour to black & whiteIn my camera bag
I have a basic kit as I am only an amateur...I have a Canon 550d, 18-55mm lens, 55-250mm lens and bought a 10-18mm landscape lens. I do have a tripod but dont really use it. I have recently upgraded to a 60d with no new lenses in my bag.Feedback
I look with my heart first and secondly with my eyes. Beauty is everywhere, it is your perception that changes.
