Had to come back and look at this once again, I live at the beach, and collect pebbles off the beach that look like hearts, but this outshines them all, bravo~~~

A cleverly creative work here! In our hometown we have a lot of mussels and have not taken them into account for creavity.

Location
I took this photo on a beach in Holland (Hargen) near to the waterline.Time
It was about one o'clock midday.Lighting
The sun was slightly covered by thin clouds, I waited until the sun had the right intensity and took a few shots.Equipment
I have a Lumix DMC-TZ60 and didn't use any extra equipment. It shows that you can take nice photos with a good, simple camera.Inspiration
I love minimalistic photos, or photos with a singular subject. In this case I liked the difference in structure between the sand and the shiny, polished inside of the mussel shell very much and wanted to show my love for this kind of photography with the heart shape.Editing
I did a little bit of post-processing by enhancing the depth of color just a fraction and I removed some loose grains of sand from the outside of the shell to put the emphasis on the contrast of structures by showing as much as possible of the lovely blue mother of pearl like inside. In my camera bag
I don't have any equipment in my bag (yet) I am a beginning photographer and I am learning to use a camera, to look for the good light, composition and point of view. One day when I know how to use and set the camera well enough, I will start to think about a bag filled with technical things instead of the need to understand how it works first...Feedback
Take the time and effort to look around you and be surprised to find that one can take a nice photo in allmost every square foot anywhere! When I try to take a photo, I allways look at the background as well as my subject. I try to avoid any disturbing items or colors surrounding the main subject in order to get the full focus on it. Crop the photo in different ways, so you can choose the best one the next day when you can have a fresh look at them!
