This was my first attempt at photographing the Northern lights. My husband and I were in Alaska in November to photograph American Bald Eagles. It was overcast and snowing most of the time we were there, but one evening, it was clear so I decided to try to photograph the lights, even though they were just beginning to be visible for the season. One tip would be to bring a small flashlight with you so you can navigate where you are going to photograph them.
