Love this! I have done something similar with hand sanitizer and a bowl of Skittles :) Love the colors and sharpness as well.

Location
I took this photo in my kitchen in Dublin, using a sheet of glass, a syringe, water, Xmas wrapping paper and 1 Flash (off camera)Time
It was taken about 9.00pm. Its best to take these kind of shots after the kids have gone to bed :)Lighting
The wrapping paper was placed on the ground and the flash fired across it (rather than directly at it) and bounced/reflected off an angled piece of white card back towards the paper.Equipment
I used the camera handheld, with the flash on the ground at my feet and fired by remote trigger using a Tamron 90mm macro lens. A heet of glass was balanced between 2 chairs and I applied water drops using a syringe. I then stood and looked directly down on to the glass and focused on the water drops before firing.Inspiration
Was getting withdrawal symptoms as I had not done much photography as the weather was terrible so I was racking my brains to come up with something different and this gradually began to take shape in my mind. It took a few goes over a few different nights before I got the set up right.Editing
Very little post processing. Bumped saturation and clarity up a bit and sharpened. Thats it reallyIn my camera bag
D7000 and my latest and most expensive acquisition my Nikon 24-70 f2.8. 2 triggers and my Yongnuo 560II. Also my nikkor 18-55mm as I have not yet got a filter ring to fit my 24-70. 2 Hi Tech filters, an ND grad and an ND.Feedback
I have explained the setup up above but its better for you to experiment with the set up as you get different interesting results by trying different things. This photo was definitely about the journey and not the destination.
