The Autumn Angel is powerful because she withstands turmoil. She prepares for harsh conditions that she knows are coming but can do nothing to prevent, conditions that will change her, freezing winds that will bend her to breaking point and strip her bare to her soul. She is strong, her blood red wings framed in black dominance rise high and proud on her back, a contrast to her dress, a riot of autumn leaves for she has picked up what the earth has scattered and created beauty where there was chaos. She is both of the earth and the heavens, both grounded and pure strength and she will endure.
