This photo was taken in Prague, on Karmelitska street, close to Malostranske namesti.Time
The time was early morning, but the camera time setting was not correct from travelling across several time zones and using that info would be misleading.Lighting
The early morning helped to create contrast between church roof in full sunlight and sidewalk in a narrow street still having the full houses shadows.Equipment
This was shot by Canon 5D with 24-105 zoom.Inspiration
The water puddles after the rain created the possibility to contrast two lighting setups. I have taken a lot of shots comparing the various angles and picture framing. The biggest difference was by having totally flat water surface or slightly rippled surface created by passing traffic. The selected picture use the ripples created by passing tramway.Editing
Picture was post processed in Photoshop, only lightly increase the contrast and perform a little vignetting.In my camera bag
I did carry my Cannon almost all the time, but since I have bought the amazing Huawei Mate 20 Pro and tested the comparison of the phone with full frame Canon (just check https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9At-K1ykkVE&t=57s), I carry only the phone and coming back with full frame only on rare occasions.Feedback
An advice for taking reflection pictures - check the weather forecast and be there just after the rain. People are still hiding inside and puddles are at the fullest.
