Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in my studio.

Time

It was middle of the day but since my studio is in the basement, it's always dark there.

Lighting

Yes, I used a two light setup. Had one strobe on the left side and one on the right. I also used a reflector to fill in the shadows

Equipment

Nikon D700 with 24-70mm 2.8 lens. Profoto lighting

Inspiration

This was done for a magazine and the inspiration was having something different than just putting jewelry on the models neck.

Editing

I used a green screen for this shoot. The model was extracted from the original image and a new background was put in. Also photoshopped fly away hair and models skin was smoothed.

In my camera bag

This picture was taken several years ago but now I shoot with Sony. I have two Sony A7RIII bodies with a 24-70mm 2.8 lens, 28mm 2.8 lens, 85mm 1.4 lens, 70-200mm 2.8 lens and a 105mm 2.8 macro lens. I also have a Profoto B1, B1X and a B10 strobe lights.
