This photo was taken in my home on my dining room. I turn the space into a temporary studio from time to time.Time
This shot was taken at 5 PM.Lighting
It used two speed lights in broody boxes, a couple of white cards and couple of black gobosEquipment
I used a Sony SLT-A65V with Sony 70-200mm 2.8 lens on a Manfrotto tripod. and two Sony speed speedlights.Inspiration
This was an assignment for a commercial photography that I was attending.Editing
Mostly what I did was some clean up, applied high+pass sharpening and burned the blacksIn my camera bag
What I carry most is my A99 with a Sigma 24-70mm 2.8 lens but my favorite is my Sony 70-200mm or my Sony 85mmFeedback
I think using soft boxes with grids would have made this easier and probably look better. I also wish I had studio strobes such as Einsteins to make it easier to adjust flash power. Of course, always use a clean glass and have at least two bottles, one for the photo and the other to add some of the drink to the glass. Drink only after the shoot is done. Lastly, always have fun.
