This shot was tricky to get because I had to climb down the drop-off and stand on one foot while balancing on a small rocky ledge that was just big enough for 1 foot. I wanted to be able to get the 2nd and 3rd parts of Whitaker Falls in the same picture. The 3rd section is about a 25-30 foot straight drop-off and both sides of the gorge are so steep it is next to impossible to safely get a shot of these two in one picture. I WON'T cheat and Photoshop the two together either. My belief is that programs like Photoshop are the easy way out for people with marginal photography skills. I call myself a photographer, NOT a Photoshop artist!
