Behind The Lens

Location
This location is at the mouth of Stouts Creek & Barnegat Bay looking north to New York
Time
The storms had been coming out of the south all morning when the direction of the wind changed all of a sudden to out of the west blowing the storms out to sea
Lighting
Living by the water the light changes dramatically creating crazy effects from sunrise to sunset reflections and colors change from bright stunning colors to beautiful hues to stormy black and whites so you just have to go with what is given.
Equipment
I use a sony hx400v
Inspiration
The dramatic visual when the wind changed direction creating the effect of someone blowing the storm out to sea
Editing
I only enhanced the photo using the magic wand just very simple editing
In my camera bag
I always carry extra batteries a tripod and flash
Feedback
You just have to get off the couch and explore get inspiration from other photographers Viewbug has help me gain confidence to go out there and just do it. Take a course read a book on photography get a magazine look around you there is something out there everyday challenge yourself look for colors use your imagination get inspired there are no limits and don't be afraid of failure go on Viewbugs web sight and go around the world everyday and learn from all the great photos that are out there everyday just participate .
