Behind The Lens

Location

I was on the roof of my apartment one evening thinking of zooming in on the blazing star, and the result was this shot.

Time

It must have been around 6:30 or 7 in the evening when i took this shot.

Lighting

As I kept zooming in the pale yellow started turning into red and bringing out a giant red ball of flames which I never came across before while taking photos of sunsets.

Equipment

This was shot with Nikon Coolpix P500. No other equipment was involved.

Inspiration

I hand't planned on taking this photo at all. But as i kept zooming in the color's intensity and the sudden change of colors made me want to take a photo to remember that sometimes zooming does make things look better.

Editing

No post processing was done.

In my camera bag

Just my camera does the work for now. The tripod makes a visit sometimes but usually its just me and the camera.

Feedback

Anytime before 2 to 3 hours of sunset you can get these photos. Just zoom in and get it. A tripod would always work best but if you think your hands can do it then go for it (if my super shaky hands can stand this then anyone can).
