This photo was taken at the "Riparian Preserve At Water Ranch" in Gilbert Az. I used to go there a lot to take pictures of the birds, but this time I was a little disappointed as I did not get to see as many birds or the ones I was expecting.Time
This photo was taken late in the afternoon, after a walk looking for birds to take pictures of with no luck.I was glad stayed a little longer and walked around the area. As I kept walking I started noticing movement in the bushes (a lot of movement). And all of the sudden about 7 of them came out of the bushes and started running like crazy, it was just this little one that stayed and looked at me, almost as if he was posing.Lighting
Obviously taken in natural light as the was starting to go down. Unfortunately needing to up my ISO more than I would have liked.Equipment
This shot was with my Nikon D90 (I've been meaning to upgrade but still cannot afford the D750 of my dreams hehe ) with a Tamron lens 70-300. The original picture looks better, I'm still working on how to upload files for better resolution.Inspiration
The spur of the moment and the rabbit's pose was perfect, so I could not go back home without this picture.Editing
I shoot raw, so I like to do only a little post processing in Light room.In my camera bag
I usually carry my camera with me everywhere. Nikon D90 with different lenses, including now 28-75 2.8 tamron, 70-200 sigma (old version), 70-300 tamron, 50mm 1.8 nikon and now the new addition a tamron 90mm Macro which I can't wait to test.Feedback
I would advise to always carry your camera everywhere. I was looking for birds and ended up taking more pictures of rabbits that day. As Forest Gump would say, "life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are going to get," we just have to be ready to shoot what is available.
