It was sometime after sunrise We started off at the the far end of the park Delicate Arch we were there there before the sun came up. After tacking my photo there We just start back stopping at all the Arches that I could see.Lighting
The Photo is of Broken Arch.It was hidden in an outcropping that I had to walk to . And the sun was unable to get to the arch at that timeEquipment
Nikon D3100 ,Aperture F4.5 IS0 400 Shutter Speed 10/400 Focal length 500/10. I used flash. I like using filler flash I like to know that there would be less shadow . I think I might have use my 300 mm lens I was very small area I need to do a lot of finagling to find the right spot to get the photo. I like using the 300 mm lens more then my 55 mm lens the 300 start out at 55 L do a lot of landscape . It give me more option 18 -55Inspiration
Seeing the sign for the Broken arch and know I had to walk to it . My knees were replaced and uneven ground is not always the easiest for me to get a round . I wanted to see it. My Husband didn't he stayed in the car ( so I didn't have to hear him saying to be careful all the time) When getting to it I was in an out crop of rock. it felt like a cave It was there I took many photo at driftnet angles different spot to get this photo.Editing
I'm sure i use bright and contrast I like my photo a little darker and sharpen it a bit. That about all I do with most of my photo. In my camera bag

Use the rule of Third - Take you Camera when you go any were . I try to keep people out of the photo unless the subject is people Do not just take photo Horizontally go Vertically if your trying to get something say a ( tree ) If it vertically you won't extra thing in the photo that can take a way from the (tree) Don't use Phone Camera. Uses you flash as filler your less to have shadows. And if your in some place ask if you can take photo
