Location
This photo was taken at one of the bike trails at the University of Maine.Time
This photo was taken close to sunset, probably around 3:30-4:00 pm.Lighting
I wanted to show the sun shining through the trees and onto the snow that was pushed to the side from the plow. I like how it clearly shows the sun shining from the left side of the photo, which would be west.Equipment
All I used was my Canon PowerShot ELPH 135. I am an amateur, so I do not have any other equipment yet.Inspiration
I wanted to have one of those never-ending-trails shot.I thought the snow was a nice addition too. This photo also looks really great in black and white.Editing
I did not do much processing to the photo. Just a little bit of adjusting the exposure and contrast. Something I need much more experience doing. In my camera bag
All I have for equipment is my Canon Powershot ELPH 135.Feedback
In my opinion I think shadows look cool in these types of photos. My only advice really is to place the trail where you want it. I prefer to have it a little bit to the side, I think taking the photo straight through the middle of the path looks mediocre.
