Location
This was taken near my garage at home in Pennsylvania. I am a self taught photographer with a casual photography night class to help along.Time
I was so pleased with how this picture came out. This was taken in the evening around 6:30. I was enjoying being outside and was taken pictures in the spring of all the new flowers budding. I tried different angles to focus on the flower and not the background. Thru the process of elimination I got my photo.Lighting
I took advantage of the cloud cover, so it made the color of the flower more vibrant. And I didn't have to give it extra light.Equipment
This was taken with a Canon EOS Rebel T5 and a 55mm lens. No tripod, no flash.Inspiration
I wanted to take a closer photo of the flowers. And to not focus on getting an image of the whole flower, but part of it.Editing
I didn't have to really do anything with the photo. Just some light editing. Fill light, shadowing, etc...In my camera bag
I currently don't have a lot of equipment, so everything I need is ready to go in my camera bag. I have cleaning equipment, my 55mm and 300mm lens, my external flash (that I love!), plus a case that holds my sd cards. Attached to the outside of my bag is my gorillapod and monopod. The other piece of equipment that I will sometimes take along is my tripod. I love using my extra equipment!Feedback
When it comes to certain things if you are not sure about taking a picture of it, go ahead and take a picture. See how it came out and maybe make some adjusts to make a unique photo. You look around and you can just see pictures in the making. Like with this picture, just keep trying different angles and you can get something pretty.
