Behind The Lens

Location

This shot was taken in an industrial unit in North Hampshire. The bike is owned by the guy who owns the unit.

Time

We were at the unit all day. It was primarily a shoot with an aspiring model but the surroundings and bike were just too cool not to take a shot.

Lighting

The lighting is all flash. I Used an Elinchrom strobe.

Equipment

My camera at the time was my trusty Nikon D3200 with kit lens. Flash as I mentioned was an elinchrom strobe with a soft box.

Inspiration

It was just a beautiful bike and the tools and workshop surroundings were perfect.

Editing

There was a blight adjustment to the contrast and clarity in lightroom but other than that it was not heavily processed.

In my camera bag

At the moment I use a Sony A65 and have a cracking 50mm Minolta f1.8 lens. I’m also loving the Samyang 14mm lens particularly at night.

Feedback

Despite having something beautiful, in this case a model, in front of you, look around for something a little different.
