Amazing rich and beautiful colors. Strong and clear details. My favorite part is the richness othat the shadows add to the image. Nice JOB!

Location
This image was taken at the Beaver Dams along the Snake River just North of Jackson, Wyoming.Time
We arrived just before sunrise to setup and watch this beautiful landscape.Lighting
Get up early for the morning light. It changes quickly. This image was taken late September and the sun has already started moving towards the souther hemisphere.Equipment
Nikon D800, 24 - 70mm f/2.8, tripodInspiration
The rugged Tetons and the beautiful colors of the fall landscape. The light of early morning as the sun slowly filled the morning sky and warmed the earth.Editing
This is a single exposure. Exposing for the sky, mountain peaks and the water left the shadows dark. The shadows and color received minor adjustments to recover the detail that I was seeing with my naked eye.In my camera bag
Nikon D800, 24 - 70 f/2.8; 70 - 200 f/2.8, and several prime lenses.Feedback
Get there early and get set up. The scene changes very quickly and you need to be ready to capture many spectacular images. If there are other photographers in one location pick up you gear and walk around. The best image may be just down the trail. And who wants the same images.
